Create a SmartSite Site

Follow these steps to begin creating your SmartSite:

  1. Choose the type of site you wish to create:

    • Course sites: Only UC Davis instructors, TAs and staff can create course sites.
    • Project sites: All campus affiliates can create project sites for online collaboration.
  2. Log into SmartSite by clicking Login on the upper-right corner of the screen.
  3. Select the (1) My Workspace tab from the site tab toolbar at the top of the screen.
  4. Click (2) Site Setup from the left hand tools menu.
  5. Click (3) New at the top of the Site Setup frame to begin the site setup process.
